Green Leaf LD-1 is a liquid laundry oxygen bleach based on stabilized hydrogen peroxide that is formulated for bleaching during the main wash at temperatures above 75°C. It is a safer destainer for use on Color linen.
Description: Green Leaf LD-1 is a concentrated laundry destainer specially formulated for use in commercial, healthcare and on-premise laundries. The product can be used for all types of fabric (except nylon) and should be applied in the main wash at temperatures between 70 and 90°C.
Key Properties: Green Leaf LD-1 is a well-stabilized and effective high temperature bleach system based on hydrogen peroxide. It is a very thin liquid, which makes it easily pumpable, ensuring optimal delivery in the wash solution. This product can be applied on all types of fabric (except nylon), including colour articles, at 70-90°C.
When used according to user instructions, Green Leaf LD-1 causes minimal fabric damage and colour fading. Please note that bloodstains will set when in contact with peroxide and as a result, will be hard to remove. Therefore it is strongly advised to avoid any contact with peroxide bleach during the initial phase of the wash (t=0-7 minutes). It is recommended to treat fabric with bloodstains with an enzymatic product in the pre-wash. For further information on use, please refer to ‘User Instructions’.

Use Instructions: Dosing level is dependent on wash classification. Dosage recommendation: 2-4 ml/kg dry goods.
Please Note the Following:
– Green Leaf LD-1 is most effective at temperatures > 80°C
– At these temperatures, the pH of the wash solution should be between 9 and 10.7
– Application at high temperature and pH > 10.7 may result in chemical damage of natural fibres, such as cotton
– For optimal bleaching at lower temperatures (60-80°C), this product should be applied at pH 11-11.5; under these conditions fabric damage will be minimal
– At temperatures below 60°C bleaching performance is minimal
– Peroxide bleach is not suitable for disinfection purposes
– Do not use Green Leaf LD-1 for cleaning nylon (polyamide; eg HTN dust mats)
